Hi, I’m Michael

I am a Hampshire wedding photographer, and calling my love for photography a “passion” would be understating it.

Ever since a kid - photography has always fascinated me. Being able to preserve a single moment and make it last forever has always captured my imagination.

My photography style is candid photo journalism with as little impact on the day as possible - I want the day to be about you!

I’m naturally outgoing and enthusiastic, so I like to get stuck in with you and your guests and have a great time alongside you.

My Approach

Before, during and after your wedding - I want to be more than just your photographer.

From my experience of shooting weddings, I can advise on what I believe works to help your day flow as smoothly as possible for you and your guests.

I’m not a shy person, so during those key moments where you want those specific photos being taken, like the confetti throw, I can happily step in and round up your guests.

My goal is to help keep things organised and stress-free, but spontaneous and fun.

(Think of me as your own wedding PA!)

Photo Style

I understand that for most couples, posing and standing in front of a camera is not a natural thing to do…

This is why I enjoy playing silly games with my couples which, at face value, sound absolutely ridiculous… But the result is beautiful, candid, natural laughs and smiles!

“Catch of the Day” is one of my favourite verbal prompts to use. If you take a look at my gallery, you will immediately see this prompt in action with the groom’s party carrying the groom!

“Kiss attack” is another great one! I’d tell you more - but the idea is to keep the games a surprise!
